National Indigenous Peoples Day

Setting aside a day for Indigenous Peoples is part of the broader recognition of Indigenous Peoples’ important place within the fabric of Canada and their ongoing contributions as First Peoples.

This year on June 21, 2020, to mark National Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Bee-Clean is supporting The Moose Hide Campaign.

The Moose Hide Campaign (MHC) is a grassroots movement created to engage Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys in taking a stand against violence towards Indigenous women and children. As the campaign evolved, it has grown to include all Canadians in ending violence against all women and children.

Wearing the moose hide pin signifies your commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in your life, and work with others to end gender-based and domestic violence.

It is Bee-Clean’s honour to distribute and share the moose hide pin to our staff, associates and colleagues as an act of reconciliation, respect and support for not only, Indigenous women and children, but women and children in all communities.

We encourage everyone to join us in supporting this meaningful initiative! To learn more about the Moose Hide Campaign and the work they are doing in communities across Canada please visit moosehidecampaign.ca.
