Where do we go from here? – Bee-Clean joins the conversation about the industry’s challenges during and post-pandemic

The reality we’ve faced in the past two years has shined a spotlight on the cleaning and facilities management industry. Many have experienced higher staff turnover, witnessed increased demand (and resulting shortages) of supplies, and seen the growth in the public’s understanding about clean workspaces and the importance of disinfection. As we’ve watched the world return to work, we’ve started asking how these unique challenges and perceptions of the industry, brought on during the pandemic, will affect businesses across the country. Where are we going from here? This is the topic of one of the panel discussions at this year’s ISSA Show Canada, a two-day trade event being held in Toronto next week.

“We’re excited to not only attend this event, but sponsor it as well as participate in this panel, where we’ll join the important conversation about where the industry is going during and after the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Philippe Mack, CBSE | Senior Vice President of Customer Experience and U.S.A. Expansion at Bee-Clean Building Maintenance.

Mack, who is moderating the panel discussion, brings over 30 years of experience working in facilities management and business development and is excited to delve into the issues with the six panelists.

Joining the panelists is Bee-Clean’s own Roberta Polyak, Vice-President of Human Resources-Central and Eastern Canada. Polyak will be drawing on her unique experiences in Human Resources and wealth of knowledge in the commercial facilities industry during this panel discussion.

“When we think about all that has happened in the last few years, we see areas like the high turnover rate, education and training challenges, and other major challenges not just in human resources but in so many areas,” says Polyak. “I’m excited to talk with the other panelists as we speak about these issues and look for solutions together.”
